The history of wide screen cinema is a long one that has been bound together with one flaw or another in the processes used to create the experience. This experience was welcomed by movie goers despite the flaws because of the awesome nature of being engulfed by the visions on the wrap-around screen. Trilux Arts & Entertainment a business that began with a child hood vision of Mr. E. L.“Freddie” Shafer who is quickly putting into motion a wide screen experience, similar to, but very different from, cinerama. As a child Freddie heard about the wide screen movies and he dreamed about what that experience would be like. He was an intelligent young man who began to try to imagine how they created this wonderful exciting concept.
Trilux Arts & Entertainment is producing an Independent film to be displayed in a new widescreen process. “All for Elizabeth” is a comedy adventure film about Daryl, a young teen boy, and Elizabeth, a school mate, who just happens to be the object of Daryl's affection. This film is scheduled for pre-production beginning 1 June 2007. The Movie will be shot mostly in Southern Oklahoma and Oklahoma City on Motion Picture Film, Not Digital or Video, and has a production cost of $130,000. Later, Freddie was finally in a cinerama theater prepared to watch what he had been dreaming of: A wide screen miracle that he had spent time to examine in his mind, feeling quite sure he had the “how” figured out. The flaws he saw in the screen before him made him wonder why they had not thought to create the process the way he imagined it in his mind. Now an adult Mr. Shafer has spent years working to perfect that child hood concept. The dream is now a reality, of which has a patent. The excitement of that dream will soon be a reality for movie goers who will be able to watch a new wide screen process, finally ,visiting the experiences that first played in a young child's imagination years earlier!
